Do you know what is the model number of those sensors? Maybe I can pick them up after market.BMW system and software, so follow the same procedures when going aftermarket and when relearning new sensors. People have luck with aftermarket sensors, but other folks just buy BMW OEM sensors. The training procedure is very simple and it will be easy to go between summer and winter wheels, for example.
My dealer told me the part number was 42607-WAA02 is there a difference?Toyota part # for the TPM sensor is 42607WAA01 and it's a 315MHz system. They seem to price higher than BMW but maybe you can get a discount online. BMW has both 315MHz and 433MHz systems and I couldn't get a good confirmation on the BMW equivalent part # (online BMW part catalog that had included Supra is offline).
If going aftermarket make sure it's 315MHz. Here is what TireRack offers:

The car will be able to relearn new sensors -- look for a relearn/reset procedure in iDrive then go for a short drive on a curvy road or make a lot of turns. Accelerometers in the sensors will help the car sort out which sensor is on which wheel as you make turns. The whole process takes a few minutes.
Any follow ups?Any one was successful putting on after market TPMS on the supra? I got tow put on today and it's not recognizing it. There's no menu on the idrive to reset the TMPS. Only recalculating the tires.
Thanks buddy. The shop is still trying to figure it out but my Supra is already put away for the winter. So I will have to bring it to him next spring to have it sorted out. He said it probably needs reprogramming.
