So on the LHD we have the volume controls on the right side of the steering wheel. Your right hand is occupied with the shifter. But it's also needed for volume control.
Yeah but every other button is in the wrong place! The demisters are on the passenger side, for example. ?

Well.... it's already running a hybrid turbo, 570hp / 470ftlb give or take on 99ron which is plenty really... the car hasn't even covered 2000 miles yet ?

As and when the clutch decides enough is enough I will upgrade it, but I'm not sure I can be bothered with farting about with a built engine etc these days. (I'm a recovering rotary drag car user, trying not to go back down the slipperly slope! ? )

I went JDM Combe at the Castle Combe circuit on saturday.
Fantastic turnout, and my first time at Castle Combe.. will have to get the car sorted for a track session I think!

I think the following will be needed:
  • Better tyres
  • Better brakes
  • Clutch I'm willing to abuse
  • Bigger radiator

I'm in no rush though TBH.

So far so good on the OE clutch, but I hardly drive it tbh, only just over 2000 miles in total!

I also don't abuse it a lot, the odd 3rd gear pull here and there etc.

Will be interested to hear how you get on with the pads!

RE: Canchecked - I just haven't had the time to do anything at all with it so far. Whifbitz did the initial installation and setup, quite a lot of the default values seem to work - so I am now getting live oil/water/gearbox/Intake temps etc which is what I was most interested in being able to see and monitor.

Odd to think that I haven't driven her since September!

Going to remedy that next week with a roadtrip to Yorkshire & the Lake District. :drive:

Did you trade in for an auto? Your profile says 2022 GR Supra, and they didn't make a manual until 2023 MY.

It's a UK car, so a 2022 registration - one of the first few manuals shipped to the dealers as a demonstrator.
What we call a 2022 over here would be your 2023 model year.
:)

Road trip to North Yorkshire and back completed, feel like I've given myself a DVT though! ?

Needs a clean to be ready for card and coffee on Sunday.

I got papped leaving Cars and Coffee on saturday.
One of my regular ones, and potentially the last outing for the Supra in my hands as there was a nice looking Bentley for sale there that has taken my eye/triggered my lust!

As of this morning I'm no longer a Supra owner; but I did have the pleasure of seeing the look on the dealers face during the test drive when he realised just how quick she is!
Will be available in SW England over the next week or so once the registrations have been transferred.

Hell of a lot of fun, but I'm too tall/fat to suffer more than a couple of hours or so at a time in the car, which rules out trips to Spa etc.

:drive: :nixon:
