Hello folks,

Today when changing engine oil I saw undercar plastic shield was hanging and two bolts were missing.

After few successful google searches I figured out i need 1 x 90118-wa828 and 1 x 90118-wa137

I went to the nearest and biggest Toyota dealer for the replacement bolts. The bolts are not in stock and they would need to order it from Toyota, which could take weeks/months. Each bolt costs less than US$1.5.. but im not willing to wait for this long...

Has any of you replaced these bolts? Did you use OEM bolts? if not, what did you use?

Thanks

When I had my M235i, I misplaced so many of those damn bolts and pop rivets, I think I ended up buying them in bulk from FCP Euro. Changing the oil on that thing required removal of the undercarriage tray every time. I was too stubborn to just cut a damn hole in it cuz of resale paranoia.

Just renewed a load of mine because they were already pretty rusty.. no idea why. I went to BMW for mine, part num: 07149481168 (though these are the newer version, found on cars produced from 2024, so have a 10mm head instead of 8mm.)

I ran into the same issue. Broke one and ordered them online. The ones I ordered came in as a 8mm, while all of mine are 10mm (I'm a 2024). I'll try that part number you posted above.
