Right, and the price seems reasonable if it really works, but everyone who has installed one seems to say it's dry after miles. So I think the concensus that there's no NEED is correct.
On new cars, with various types of bolt-ons, doing types of driving we're not entirely sure about. It will be interesting to see how much oil they start collecting as: 1) The miles add up; and 2) More people doing HPDE and other types of racing install these kits (my use-case). I see it as a means by which to optimize a system at this point, honestly. It sounds like BMW did a great job reducing blow-by as much as possible on the B58.
