Question for anyone running these Verus Engineering components on the track (HPDE): Brake master cylinder brace and rear diff cooling plate. Was there any perceived or measured benefit for either? With the former (https://www.verus-engineering.com/s...e-master-cylinder-brace-mk5-toyota-supra-1620), I'm hoping to address some of the sponginess in the brake pedal feel. With the latter (https://www.verus-engineering.com/s...ferential-cooling-plate-mk5-toyota-supra-1416), I'm hoping to get ahead of the rear diff thermal issues I've seen some mention after long runs at 9/10ths on the track. Any other options for rear diff cooling?

OP,
I have both and I Track my Sup (1/4mile)... The only difference I felt was for the brake master... Pedal doesnt feel smooshy anymore...
Other than that I hope the Diff plate is doing its job....

I ordered the brake brace but haven’t installed because I can’t find it in my garage. Lol

my brakes feel really good with after market solid lines, 660 fluid and pads.
Just installed the diff plate last week so I will see I guess.
I have only gotten the diff error twice in 2 seasons and both times I was over driving the car trying to keep up with cup cars

the turbo shield produced bona fide lower temps about what they claim

going to hack up the hood later this spring for hood vents

I have both. The master cylinder brace provides a slightly better feel. Works identical to my other braces I have used in other cars.

for the diff plate - I drive my car pretty hard and have been doing track days for 15 years. I got the rear diff overheating error on several occasions and most notable at my last trip to VIR. Ambient temp was 98 and the car would go into limp mode after 10 mins of hard driving.

I have been on the track a few times since with the rear diff plate But all ambient temps were in the 70’s and no CEL. While I honestly don’t think the plate does much (it scoops air but the air doesn’t go anywhere. If anything it’s creating turbulent air in that little pocket), I will find out once the temp starts to heat up again. For the price they are charging, I thought it was fair to give it a go.
hope this helps
