Thank you for posting - great to hear a long-term success story for a Supra daily driver - I am (hopefully) picking up my new 2025 next week and it will be replacing my current daily ride (2006 Acura with 290,000+ miles) - I currently average 15K miles yearly and hope this will be the car I drive off into retirement with in approx. 10 years.

That's exciting! I have tons of videos on my channel discussing my ownership, pretty much whatever MK5 related, I cover it. Just make sure to keep up with regular maintenance and the car will be fine. This car is going to be passed on to my future kids!

If you could switch mods out knowing what you know now, what would you switch or be interested in trying?

Your mom is my ride
Curious if you have ever tried putting the Volk Racing TE37 Saga 18x10 +25 (F) on the rear of the vehicle? Just wondering if a square setup would work using the front rims...

Great question. Probably the only thing right now would be trying out the new Pure 900 and setting the car up more for canyons and turns instead of purely straight line. That would be basically it. Was thinking about going to KWs, but I like having the adaptive suspension still being usable.

Nope, never tried it so I wouldn't know.

Why you do this. Lol kidding what do they look like?
I got this one, does the job lol

Not that you asked...but I'll make a recommendation against the KWs. If you are looking for a streetable coilover to make the car a little more sporting in the canyons, etc, I'd recommend the Ohlins R&T over the KWs. Check out the Ohlins thread on here - there's a mixture of street and track use, and it's generally the "just right" Goldilocks product. I'm likely upgrading from the stock dampers to Ohlins in the next year.

Out of the box, I've had good experience with KWs, but a friend who was a national-level autocrosser had a pretty poor experience with KW and their US service. He had a shock failure - seals leaked much of the fluid out, so he sent the entire set in to be rebuilt by KW USA (new seals, fluid, other wear items). They did the rebuild, but he had another failure almost immediately. After 2 failures in short succession, he sold the KWs.
