Wanting to understand knock retard/ignition retard

Hi everyone,

I've been logging my car lately and noticing pretty consistent knock retard and some ignition retard. is this normal/to be expected? Car is tuned on Ecutek, 98RON fuel. added downpipe, exhaust and intake, everything else is stock.

30+ psi of boost or 2.2 bar, sounds like a high amount of boost for current setup.

Likely just due to the fuel. Any way to raise octane? the knock does start to clean itself up.

The boost is -1 bar from the actual reading you see on the log, so it should be about 16-20psi.

Even at the start of the log i get ignition retard just cruising.. anyone know why would this be happening?
