E36 BMW M3. Bought it new in '99. Optioned out with the wing and lighter, optional wheels. Silver. Would be my track car today if I held onto it. Stupid, stupid decision to get rid of it for something more practical... when I could have just bought the other car in addition to keeping it. Was saving money. ?

2014 EVO X 6 speed that was mostly stock. Never see them around anymore and could use it as my bad weather / hauler vehicle.

got in a accident and wanted to keep it. Looked fine on the outside, but the whole frame / body was bent.

wish I just brought it to a frame shop. Only had 70k miles on it.

That's a fine looking rx8, sad to know how the story ended. Also, signature checks out

I miss the blower whine of my brz as well as the affordability of parts. Only 300whp, but one of the funnest cars I’ve owned. And also every motorcycle I’ve ever let go of, there are only 6 in the garage currently ?

only car I really regret getting rid of was the 2002 WRX. Bought new and beat the tar out of it for roughly 32k, zero issues. Just bolt-ons and loved it, great winter car. Probably would have blown up by 70k, so maybe I dodged a bullet, not sure.

Loved my Subies as well.
The 2021 sti I got rid of was for the wife's 2023 4runner trd off road... regretted it that day. So I pinched my pennies to pick up the supra.

Yeah, i mean, i can't imagine driving a newer WRX, totally different, i'm sure the 2021 was great. In 2002, the turbo was probably too big, and the engine was anemic....so, basically you would get nothing, no power until you got it all at like 4,500-5,000 RPM. To launch it, you had to abuse the clutch at like 4k. I do not miss those days of shitty turbos and tech slapped to anemic 4 cylinders. That said, i still loved the hell out of it.

I’ve had over 16 cars since I started driving 16 years ago and the only two I regret selling is my 88’ E28 M5, THE fastest 4 door sedan in the world at the time and my 80’ CJ-5 Laredo 4 cylinder which was literally the first jeep I ever saw as a kid. petrolicious even wrote an article about it. Check it out: https://petrolicious.com/articles/jeep-laredo-finds-him-after-thirty-years

I had an 08 FG2, first new car. Slower than a minivan in a straight line, but that motor and chassis were so fun. You could abuse the hell out of it and it just took it.

Found a good photo of my two sports cars of mid 2010's for me.
