What did you do to your Supra today?

I didn't really do anything, but I made a friend.

I did it without removing anything aside from the plate holder. It's a bit tricky around the bottom/side fins of the diffuser bc of the small space, so if you don't have tiny wimp hands like me it might be easier to pop to diffuser off. I did an inlay on the center of the plate recess, and stretched the rest. Use a good bit of heat especially on the uppermost curves of the plate area, its by far the hardest part imo. Also, this may be obvious, but knifeless tape along the main bodyline was a massive help!

So I own a 3.0L Premium in black. I love the car and want a white one too.

I've been shopping for a A91 CF in white, but nowhere to be found.. and this war is pushing things out even further, it seems for BMW. And I would need to trade my beloved STI if I go this route as I would like to keep my arms and legs.

My other option is ordering a GR86 Premium in white, MT. I also like the car how it looks and Dori-Dori gave it a good review so it must be good. In this case I get to keep my STI, pay cash..and since coming from Japan, probably realistic to get a hold of one by Summer.

Which would you do? (this is what I've been doing all frikken day..)

Found a Seibon MB spoiler in stock somewhere… ordered today and should arrive Monday. Feels like a pretty lucky break considering how far apart these are making it stateside. Gonna paint match it before mounting it hopefully by end of next week.

Easy choice for me at least, keep the STI, get the GR86 — it’s a totally different car than the other two and is a lot of fun in its own way especially if you keep it naturally aspirated and make it out to the track with it. If you’re not much of a track person yet, it is a fantastic way to get started developing the most important mod — driver mod. It’s linear, predictable, and with some light suspension work will handle as well as anything out there. It’s always great to push yourself before you push the car and the GR86 will do that. I took my BRZ to the track many many times over much faster cars for quite awhile out of choice — it’s just a different kind of fun.

If you never plan on hitting the track or already feel great out there, maybe a different decision would make sense.

I thought I heard all allocations for 86s this year were sold out (barring cancellations), but I may be dead wrong...
