I live in Charlotte NC, plenty of sun, maybe like 4 homeless people, and I can enjoy my life. I've lived in literally every part of the country, Cali is ?
Yea currently it seems there are more homeless people in California than anyone else. Weather is nice, but after being here for 20 yrs, the negatives def outweigh the good, IMO. I'm ready to venture away soon ha. How is NC?

Chicago sucks, but come here, the weather is ok sometimes.

Hahaha, yeah homeless amount is crazy here. Glad you understood I was messing around. Some people get mad when I jokingly defend Cali.

It has it's rip offs here, but Venice Beach is my home. Only place I could leave Cali for is Japan sadly. :p Used to be Florida, but I can't live somewhere where wearing a helmet while riding a motorcycle is optional. :p

So I actually did get to work on the Supra today. Picked up my prototype titanium bling panels from my laser cutter, got one side completed and installed. Will do the other tomorrow and get some good photos in the sun.

oh and then I hit a hole in the road and bent my wheel. So that was uncool.

I'd like to live in SoCal for the weather / beach scene, but its so insanely expensive from housing to taxes to gas that I feel like it cancels out that benefit. Idk I'm just a poor redneck from NC don't listen to me lol
Yeah, I def pay a lot to enjoy the weather. But for me I ride my Sportsbike all year round so that's for my mental health.

It def is a rip cost wise since there is no control on the rising costs in most areas. I mean, you can find areas in Cali that aren't a rip, but we are talking pretty inland compared to near the Beaches. Some people here will pay 4-5k a month for a one bed to live in areas such as Culver City/Venice, while if you head outta the midcity, it's easily affordable provided you don't work in fast food and aren't trying to live the Instagram Life-style.

Ultimately, we all are getting screwed in the states we live somehow right? :p I just... can't... buy a house in the one I love. :p

What's the safe RPM range again to prevent snapping axles? 1800-2200rpm?
I can’t speak for a sticky drag strip but on the street I spin if I launch with more than 1800 even with sticky tires. I shoot for 1700-1800. I also read somewhere that much more than 2000, you’ll risk breaking something.

Oh absolutely. They are incredibly damaging to paint.
Not only that but the impact from the egg's shell can also damage the paint. Someone egged my car - I was able to wash off the eggs pretty fast but the damage to the paint from the shells stayed. The cleaner the car, the better you can see it too. Cops obviously never found anyone.

Yes. Just like how pieces of ceramic and windows do NOT mix.
Ah reminds me of my college days when I first got my first Sportsbike. Used to carry around pieces from a broken spark plug....
