Heat management on the little guy!

I always see these on top mounts but does anyone put them on lower mount turbos? Do they have any drawbacks to them?

3 oz Chemical Guys Hydrosuds in my foam gun and 12oz warm water makes my car wash super easy
Most of the time I don't even agitate
Rinse off with distilled water and blow dry with my mighty blower
99% washed within 20 mins

Is that the stock mounting location for the AOS? I didn't think any of the CAIs on the market would fit with it installed.

It is the stock location. The HKS came with a heat shield that I removed since I put on the Verus heat shield, I figure why do I need two. That allowed for enough room by a small margin.

I have a salt water reef tank so I use an RODI system for water changes
If you use RODI water to rinse it leaves no residue or hard spots
Similar to if someone had a water softener system installed

The infamous "Spot-Free" rinse at the end of an automated carwash is essentially distilled water, which is free of minerals & contaminants (also known as Total Dissolved Solids).
