I agree.Tint is the first thing I do. Literally as I'm driving off the lot, I'm making the appt. Can't fish bowl. Haha. Even in California, I'd do it, and just have it redone if I got rolled. Single cheapest mod imo. Changes the whole stance.
Sure, links here:More pictures of these wheels please! Stock suspension?
Feb 25, I believe it is. I will be skipping Chuckwalla as I can't make that trip, but hoping to do the following round at Las Vegas motor speedway. If I work it right, I should only end up missing three of their events.Willow springs end of Feb? I'll be at Buttonwillow beginning of March.
I've got such bad car ADD that I'm always slow on mods and never get around to tint.Tint is the first thing I do. Literally as I'm driving off the lot, I'm making the appt. Can't fish bowl. Haha. If I can make it work, I'll meet you out at the Vegas event! I might try to make the late March streets event too since it's on my bday weekend.Feb 25, I believe it is. I can't wait to get out to Buttonwillow so I can do an apples to oranges comparison of this car versus the Evo. I'm told our cars due really well there.
I got it down to 1'56.xxx on four year old NT01s. With some a052s, I could have managed a 1'53".999.If I can make it work, I'll meet you out at the Vegas event! I might try to make the late March streets event too since it's on my bday weekend.
What times did your evo do at Buttonwillow? Curious to see how I do compared to it as I have never been there.
Homestead cars and coffee weekend ? ?I got it down to 1'56.xxx on four year old NT01s. With some a052s, I could have managed a 1'53".999.
Let me know if you make it to any of those other events.
I'm down to meet somebody at Buttonwillow, I need to run the Supra to get an apples to oranges comparison to the Evo.
It is. Check my build thread. Link is in my signature. Engine's been out all winter, it was off to billy for the works.Ohhh shiiiiit! Also, is that a low mount big turbo kit?? Any more info on that?
I'm looking forward to being reasonably fast in a car without having to basically rebuild the whole thing. This car will always be a comfortable street car. Full interior, etc. Suspension and some aerodynamics. That's about it.The biggest compliment, to me, is all the people that want to know more about the car at the track. Homestead this weekend. New Vette guys, Porsche peeps, a new Lotus buddy, you name it. How is it so fast on the straights? What have you done to the engine? What is it? LOL
I love all the questions and from incredibly nice peeps. Adding to the fun, lots of fans came to watch FARA racers. Tons of families coming up to my car, wanting pictures with their kids ?
I know you’re going to have a blast kaj! It’s really nice knowing you don’t have to do a heck of a lot out of the box to go really fast on track ?
I really like those wheels. I'm looking to powder coat my OEM 2021 wheels gray. Doesn't quite look as good, in my opinion, but the OEM wheels look really good when they're one color and not black.Installed 2023 OEM wheels on my 2022 Tungsten Supra 3.0 this morning.
