Fitted axle-back system from Milltek today. Quite a popular brand here in Europe and one of few manufacturers that delivers their exhaust systems with EC/TÜV documents. Which I absolutely need in order to make the car road-legal.

How's the sound difference with the Milltek one?

I bought the Remus race axle back and it made quite a change but I still wasnt happy about it so I bought a Milltek OPF delete midpipe. But I know for it to be EEC approved you need Milltek or Remus non-race muffler and I've heard they make a very minor difference in sound for the price they charge.

I bought the Remus race axle back and it made quite a change but I still wasnt happy about it so I bought a Milltek OPF delete midpipe. I haven't tested it on the road yet, as the car stills stands on the quickjack. But I did start it up just to test, and I found the sound to be a bit deeper than normal, but not much louder.

I have a Milltek OPF delete pipe and a Wagner cat-less downpipe waiting to be fitted at a later date, after I have been at my local DMV to get the axle-back stamped into my vehicle registration certificate.

I think with these mods, the car will be loud enough for me. I don't want a stupidly loud car. I'm too old for that now after 20 years with my 240SX/Silvia S14 that had a straight pipe exhaust.

With the OPF delete and catless it will be ALOT louder and it will sound glorious. the catless will smell alot so that might attract cops too, just FYI

accidentally stalled after coming to a quick stop (was wearing large boots), car immediately started back up and somehow the auto start/stop started working again after like 2 months. thing has a mind of its own

Mod #2 since getting the car and first purchase direct from Japan with an amazing 4 day delivery time!

This was easy peasy, lemon squeezy to install (~20mins) where the only fiddly bit was holding a nut under the wheel arch while screwing a bolt into it from the top of the strut with the wheel still on. The solution is a bit of double sided tape with the nut stuck onto the end of your finger.

I feel I am now on the slippery slope towards mod-a-geddon ending with the wife divorcing me.. ?

Also, looks like the weather may soon be warm enough to put the CF spoiler on that’s been sat here for what feels like 10,000 years.

That engine cover really should be CF… don’t ya think?? ?

PS Does this strut brace actually do anything other than look good… I have my doubts.. ? (my car is a 2020 which had no struts brace fitted at all)

def looks good. It DOES help stiffen the chassis. Will you notice?- doubt it.
