Can somebody explain to me why the hood vent wouldn't be shifted further back closer towards the turbo/dp exit? I'm no aerodynamics engineer so I'm legit just curious if anyone can explain.

Further back is high pressure, you want to place vents in low pressure areas.

No issues at all and it’s a perfect fit. Also if you didn’t know, you just insert the 3/8” wrench extension right into the top of this. You don’t need that giant socket. Easy peasy.
