Im keeping this car forever. I’m lucky, I was able to pay off the loan.
If you have a loan, put whatever extra you can afford on the principal. Banks are making a killing off of us. They don’t deserve that money.
Once I get the title I’m going to the dealer and ask if I can have THE spare key (I lost mine). I KNOW they have a spare key, maybe I will get lucky.

The dealer has a spare key! Tell me more. I've never heard of that before or is it just for your car?

Hahaha. Don’t they keep a key in case people default the loan? LOL.
I have no idea. What’s the worse can happen if I go and ask.

Not here they don't and when you think about it why would they want to keep keep thousands of keys safe for 5 years or so in the event someone defaults on a loan. They wouldn't want that problem and that would be a finance company issue not the dealer. You can ask but I can't see it happening.

Yeah, but in the US they have to PAY for air and water at service stations. Wild.

Changed the oil since the car goes into winter hibernation in a couple of weeks.
Always a pain in the ass to jack up a lowered car.
I also don't really trust those plastic jack up points, heard some weird creaks from them. 🙄

Actually, having driven from California to New York, I can confirm this is actually a thing!
Lol. It's actually true. Most gas stations charge for it. However, some will offer it free, if you go in and ask. Lived in California for over 20 yrs, can confirm. Live in Texas now, and most stations are actually free out here. So, it does vary, as well.

I lived in the UK and I had to pay for air at a service station, not sure I understand why this is considered only a U.S. thing.

Also much worse things going on currently than gas stations when it comes to the United States. Weird flex.
