While I understand the product itself is well designed and fit for purpose, what I won't do, is play ball and pretend the branding looks good. It really doesn't. And you're welcome for the honest feedback, which we all know you'll continue to ignore.

We're surrounded by anonymous, poorly made objects. It's tempting to think it's because the people who use them don't care - just like the people who make them.

You don't like, you buy something else. The people that do like, help create group buys that keep being successful.

Oh for sure. Apple has their own misgivings as do some of Ives' own designs but the quote stands alone.. and I stand by it. I've ignored far better products because of poor design choices.

Right, but that quote doesn't even fit your narrative. It's talking about poorly designed products. You yourself stated the product is well designed, you just hate the logo. Never mind that logo will be seen by .00001% of people once installed.

The logo itself is a) poorly designed and b) embarrassingly just lifted from the public domain anyway. As for the quote, it applies fine to logo design, which is part of the overall product design anyway - particularly with this product, where it takes up a huge amount of space.

Aesthetically, the logo and its size are just a poor choice and calling it otherwise is doing the truth a disservice.. I don't care how many group buys are in place or ultimately how visible it is to other people.

1. It's his product so he gets to make the decisions.
2. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
3. Opinions are like a*sholes.
4. The logo will be seen by almost nobody once installed. It's like crying about a logo on a piston.
5. The logo is now living rent free in your head. I'm sure he appreciates the free marketing.

New magnetic phone mount and charging cable, I have a Samsung phone with an Otterbox case, have to put magnetic ring on it so no wireless charging but short charging cable has 90* plug on it, fits real nice. The mount is suction cupped under radio and I removed the phone charging tray, of course. Wasn't sure if shift knob would bump into phone, I can confirm it doesn't. I am happy with it. Got the idea from a Facebook post, believe it or not.

Also, took a little trip to check out Apple Valley Speedway in high desert here in SoCal. The road leading up to track is unpaved and dirt. Sonic handled it like a champ, was afraid it would be too low but it was fine. Eibach euro spec springs, stock front lip. Car is absolutely filthy. Due for a detail. I don't know desert people deal with the dust, it would drive me nuts.

Lol it's never that deep. If you don't like the logo just powdercoat it. The product ticks off a lot of boxes already, hard to pass up. Support a member, have fun.

If I were consulting here, I'd tell the owner to make one without a logo and increase the price on that sku. Cheaper to produce, more profit margin, happier customer base.. win/win.
