I've never really understood the concept of taking your car or motorcycle to a race track and then prioritising keeping it off the walls so to speak. When I'm on the track on a bike i'm there to push the limits and take some risks and I've got the injuries and broken bikes to prove it. Thats what tracks are for, going to the limit and so you can extend the envelope not driving around with a massive safety margin. If you're a "car guy" and don't fancy the risks of a bike why not spend a relatively small amount of money in the grand scheme of things and buy a Supercart? Way , way quicker than your Supra and if you wad it well it's not a massive cost issue. Then you can really go out there and wring it's neck and go genuinely quick. I think the record there for a Supercart is 1.23 and change so faster than 95% of road cars even exotic ones.

If anyone tracks their car, they're inherently accepting that it's completely possible it can be wrecked - I don't think that's lost on anyone. I don't ride anymore, and I want to continue to develop and track my Supra. Is that an issue?

No not at all I'm just interested in the reasoning.

Back in the 80s, I was scared of this corner at VGA resolution, lol.
I've been there and believe me the corkscrew is nothing like as intimidating as the approach to Hell corner and hell corner itself at Bathurst. I quite like Laguna as a track BTW. It's a bit too short but interesting.

Finally committed to changing the color of the soup, and couldn’t be happier with it. Always wanted a blue car and finally made it happen, Absolute Zero to Porsche Lugano Blue. And went with the PPF color change so don’t have to really worry about the paint getting messed up now so that’s a plus. Added the additional vents to the hood as well. Hoping to get back on track soon but might have to wait till it gets cooler again.

Bought quick jacks. Don’t fit under car. Comes with a large and small pad. Small pad won’t clear. Anyone buy the low profile ones?? Only on Whiteline springs. Not super low - it’s barely hitting by like 1/8”

Join the club. I have to drive up on some wood to get the jacks under my car. Kinda annoying but not the end of the world. Also, I have to use the big blocks or it will hit my verus side skirts.

would those Verus pucks work with these? You might still need to drive up some wood, but atleast you wouldn't have to align the quickjacks to the female jackpoints
