Mostly I use Shell premium. Sunoco if I’m at Thunderhill, and sometimes Chevron because it’s close to my house, not too often though.

I use any brand that’s Top Tier.
That’s my rule too. My understanding is Top Tier gas includes detergents that can help prevent carbon build up. There is a website that explains it all. Here is a list of brands off their website:

Always use 93 Top Tier of some type. But I overall prefer Shell 93 Vpower.

93 or 91 depending on where you live. Nothing lower. Remember that all brands pull the same actual gas. Costco doesn't have their own refinery that Quick Trip or Stop and Rob don't have access to. It's the additives that they supposedly add (when the tanker truck is loaded if I understand correctly) that maybe help keep the engine clean maybe. Never seen any proof one way or the other.

What's more important IMHO is how well you can trust your local gas station. How clean is it, how new are the pumps, how well serviced it is. Granted, I have no way to determining how well they keep up their pump. So I gauge based on their bathrooms :) If they can't keep piss off the floor then how can I expect them to keep their pumps and filters clean. By the way, same logic applies to restaraunts.

Hmm, I always thought that BP was Top Tier, but don't see it listed anymore. I used to go to an Exxon that is close, but it is really tight to get in and out of with the Supra, so have been going further to a BP that is cheaper. May have to find another option.

I used to use costco but the wierd thing with their pump is when I use the lever on the pump handle to keep it pumping until the tank is full, it only fills my tank leaving 1 bar left on the gas gauge and never fully fills up.

Costco.

BJ's as well but mostly Costco.

Shell if I desperately need it.
