Whining sound behind passenger seat

There is a mechanical whining noise that comes from the subwoofer area behind the passenger seat. The whining seems to correlate with the throttle as evident in the video. It only happens either on the second start up of the car or after it’s been driven a while on first start up. The sound stops as soon as the ignition is switched off.

I noticed the sound starting after I flashed stage 1 BM3 on the car. Other mods include intake and exhaust. Could it be the fuel pump?

Did you ever try to see if turning off ASD helps?

Mine only happens when waking the car up. Listen to this and tell me if it's the same sound.

I have the ASD turned off since I got the car so most likely not. I’ll double check though

It’s definitely similar, though I’m not sure it’s as audible, especially from the outside. Is your fuel pump upgraded?

Yes stock LPFP. I flashed back to my own map today and it no longer does it.

I have this too. After flashing MHD Stage 2 it sounds like I have an aircon port in the trunk. Is that normal?

Mine does this but only for about 2 seconds after unlocking the car, I thought it was normal.
