Someone mentioned the tool clearance issue for the mount screws for the ZL1 rock guards when doing the rear wheel wells. Here is a simple and useful and very space efficient tool for phillips bits. Just drive an 8mm nut over the phillips bit and use a 1/4" ratchet ring spanner as a right angle screwdriver. The nut pressed over the phillips bit allows you to push on the bit and keep the drive in the screw and apply pressure as you turn it. Here's my 50 year old Snap On 1/4 x 5/16 ratchet ring spanner and a tool mentioned I made god knows when (although I used to use a 5/16 UNF aircraft nut back in the day) Very compact and useful and the better quality ratchet ring you buy the better as the quality ones have a fine ratchet action allowing for smaller bites at turning in confined spaces. Saves rear wheel removal.

Took my first mini-roadtrip in the Supra today - 220 miles - and the rubbing on the top screw of the flaps scared the shit outta me on big bumps. Was thinking of trimming down to the 2nd screw as well, seems I need to do this soon… Thanks for the pics

I fitted the ZL1 rock guards today rear wheels on and used the tool mentioned in this thread post #106 along with a Snapon 1/4 drive ratchet and 8mm socket. Absolute piece of cake, 5 min a side, no swearing.

Well I emailed them and haven't heard from them since last week.

So I earlier this week, and was told their internet was down and to email them. I told them I did, and they said I should hear back sometime this week...

Would not recommend them due to poor customer service.
So I got an email a few days later saying they would ship the spacers. Still haven’t received them.

Went ahead and bought my own, in case any one gets screwed by them:

all these threads, all this research i'm doing and data I'm accumalating, all this time I'm waiting for shipments from all over the world to arrive, and in the end i order guards for THE WRONG MODEL. I got the G20/G21 guards :spaz:

said fuck it, just installed those and had to make my own holes (BYOH) and slapped those baddies on. Sorta works!
