That's only if it was LC based and Toyota had developed their own straight six. A cheaper and faster option would have been to used the RC chassis (I know I know its a pig...) with Toyota's new V35A.

Even then it would still have been hard to pull off the look of FT-1 with the RC's short hood length/V6.

Yes, everyone knows about 2.0 race car. What I was getting at was the whole "Supra must have a straight six" comment from Toyota was purely for marketing purposes.

Yep I guess you are right, it is cheaper here than the GR Yaris by $5K so 10% on the other hand it is slower but Apples & Oranges once again

According to A70, that's where the next Supra is heading towards. A V6 turbo hybrid.

Its not even the overall length. Its the short wheelbase that makes it look tiny. If they could have only push back the rear wheels by just a few inches. By doing so it the side air duct could have been incorporated better and maybe even functional.

it can be done by either adding a few inches up front and or pushing the a-pillars back a few inches. case in point the Z proto. the hood looks longer despite being based on the 370z.
