Picked it up today. In the middle of a downpour hah. But doesn't look or feel like it's rubbing with no spacers in the back. They are at 35psi right now, once it's dry outside I'll actually test them/mess around with air pressure.

Yes! Sorry I forgot to update my post! So after getting advice from my mechanic we concluded that it was a mix of things for me. For one I had no hubcentric rings on. And I went wider on the wheels with a new wider tire. I also previously had spacers in. I didnā€™t see the need for an alignment as I recently had one done. But after consideration I did one again and the car is fantastic! Hooks NASTY at 530hp 630tq. I would warm them up before u get on them on the street
So I picked it up yesterday..... It was downpouring so I babied it home the entire way. The sun came out today and the roads seemed pretty dry so I went for a spin up the road. Hammered it from pretty much a stop as well as 40mph 3rd gear roll ons and 60/4th. Car. Feels. Horrible. To where I'm like afraid to drive it because I don't want to lose control of it. With the stock tires it would break them lose obv when the torque came full on but it felt manageable... Now it's like the entire ass is swaying side to side and feels like I'm on a goddamn boat in choppy water. Almost hard to describe but sounds like the same problem you had. I'm on stock rims with no spacers now I'm not sure if I have hub centric rings? I think I definitely need to get another alignment done in the back even tho I just spent $150 getting one done a month ago. Also the tires are brand new with probably 20 babied miles on them, think I have to burn the factory coating off first? Definitely disappointed at the moment. :nono:

Mine has always felt a little like that with the stock wheels, tires or the 20's I have as my daily wheels with the stock or H&R springs

When I get on it, it feels like the nose goes up, the rear goes down & floats around on the road, it feels terrible to be fair

I'm wondering if its a rear alignment issue, not enough toe ???

I almost had an accident with them. Replaced in 48hrs, they upset car handling badly (atleast for a Supra)

Yes definitely burn off the factory coating. That will help tremendously. A soon as I did that it helped tons. Proper alignment helps. The tire just needs to be worn in. I run mine at 28 psi. I know how you. feel l was horrified at first. All that swerving. But now the tire is just fine. Tracks straight line perfect. I will say driving with traction control off helps as well for daily driving

I am attempting to sell them and will go with the 285's next spring. In either the MT or r888r's.

Sorry for bumping an old thread but these tires need to be at 18-20psi to avoid swaying and to hook up every time. These are the best street drag radials on the market if used correctly and in dry conditions. A decent wet weather drag radials is the Nitto NT555r2. Iā€™ve used both in 800whp cars.

Running 305/45/17 at 20psi they are very planted indeed.. Just make sure they see no wet roads

Did a 1.4 60ft with these
