With the exterior slowly leaking, weā€™ve yet to see good interior spy shots.

What are you expecting from the interior? What are your wants? What are your must haves? What can you live without?

Iā€™ve been curious how the interior will pan out. I believe in a YouTube video you could see red leather seats, which looked nice. I would like a mix between leather and alacantara. I donā€™t mind manual seat settings to save weight. Iā€™d like seats warmers, but would love seat coolers more.

I would really like to have a driver focused interior like the MKIV with amber gauges.

Discuss.

I'm personally all about the design.
Considering you spend 99% of your time inside the car. The design has to be right.
Not to mention sporty... It has to have that feel.
Even if it was similar to the 86, or driver focussed cockpit like the MKIV.

I would be super disappointed if the interior turned out to be the same, bland design as your standard BMWs.

Simple interior accessories definitely wouldn't go astray.
Cruise control, Gps, USB connection etc etc. Im sure it will come with all that though, pretty standard these days.
Hopefully Recaro seats optioned or standard in every model?

At the end of the day...
So long as Toyota keep it all fairly basic and driver focused. I'm sure all will be well

The leak from f30post says they'll have the same interior.

I highly doubt with how different the exterior is, that the interior will be the same

Yes, which I don' think is a bad thing bmw may not have the best design but they are very ergonomic. Also z4 will have the newest idrive and a heads up display:thumbsup:

Yeah is it not going to be a Toyota-badged BMW interior? I would expect 3 series fare.

I think other threads have pointed to a more BMW type interior...

I would prefer an RCF type interior, great seats, cooled/ventilated seats, a great mix of leather and alcantara, and with color options (I love the red-black balance of the RCF).

I would prefer a back seat, even a tiny one, for the kid. But it looks like that might not happen.

Back to the cooled seats, I had an 06 IS350 with ventilated seats that I used almost half of the days of the year living in Ohio and nearly every day of the year when living in AZ. I NEVER use heated seats in any car, thatā€™s just me, cooled/ventilated seats is a huge selling point for me.

A Toyota interior would be ideal, but seems likely that they'll just put a Toyota steering wheel in the BMW interior. I wish they'd at least come up with a better looking shifter than that ugly BMW thing.

I want a Toyota Interior, a driver focused cockpit with a center console focused mainly on the driver just at the JZA80 was. Full color heads up display with driver performance displays such Tachometer and Boost PSI would be nice.

A new style 3 spoke steering wheel with a nice thick feel...And modern controls, similar to the old style JZA80 below.

The new interior should have the feel of the old with new tech. Sorta of like the how the Corvette creates the separation between driver and passenger. (Like below) The traditional supra circular vents should be implemented in aswell.

As far as instrument cluster...

Either traditional style like the 911...With a full color display surrounding the tach would be nice.

Or fresh digital right in the center... I'm ok with both...
