Does anyone know what this code means and why it happens?

I have a flexfuel kit and a downpipe. Tuned as well.

Do you have a JB4? Make sure it’s fully plugged in.

I’ve got ecutek and tuned by Mikey. Honestly I’ve never had so many codes pop up in my life out of every car I’ve owned. I’ve come to the conclusion that my tuner just kinda stopped giving a shit cause he tuned so many cars

Contact your Mikey about it and check your oil level.
B58s have been out for a while and tuned. Best to see what the Beamer boys have said about this in the past.
Ignore any fixes regarding replacement parts.

Yeah I've tried googling the code. The only thing I see about valvetronics are "oh no, this needs to be replaced" type thing. Then I've also heard on facebook that it's an overboost thing. I've reached out to Mikey already but he responds once every 2 weeks so... smh.

My oil level is max. I check it every 50 miles just to be safe. I'm also going to change out the oil pretty soon to liqui moly 5w30.

When you unlock you car, do you hear a weird sound from under your hood?
If not, clean Vanos and then do a valvetronics relearn

Can you explain weird sound? I think I do hear like a clack inside the engine bay

I would consider flashing back to stock first and seeing if the valvetronic issue is still present. If the issue is still present, you may need to look into it further from a mechanic's perspective. If not, then it's a bad map and will either need to be corrected by Botti or if you would go with another tuner, he or she will sort that out. Only downside to that is that you have to pay for another tune from another tuner.

I'd have to empty all the ethanol I have in this tank before I flash back to stock. It's currently at E45. Patiently waiting for Mikey's response :(. I appreciate the input.

As far as the code goes, do you know if that's an overboost thing?

The car on stock maps can run up to e25 from the factory so if you can get to about 6 gallons, you can add about 5 gallons of 91/e10 into it to bring it to e25.

It's more than likely a bad map; however. I've had the flex fuel and downpipe installed for 3 weeks before he got to me and only had this issue after I put in some ethanol and did some pulls.
