The entire car looks dumb to be called a cf edition but with no cf mirrors, cf steering wheel, or even a cf roof…. New Seats are nice tho.

what about wind buffeting? or Android Auto... its missing basic features that normal car offers these days....

I don't have much to add, except to say that Toyota USA is delivering exactly what's expected: disappointment.

The CF edition is underwhelming. The lack of bug fixes is underwhelming. The refusal to adopt Android Auto is wildly out-of-touch with the smartphone market share mix, not to mention lazy.

I like the carbon fiber spoiler. That’s it. Lol. I still don’t know if I’m ever going to put a spoiler on my refraction Supra though. I like the clean look of the trunk…and the visibility.

One thing I have come to realise with dual company car partnership development is that once the product is made, then forget any real updates annually.

It is strange to think this but it seems the contract between bmw and toyoda on the Supra is limited to only what BMW sells to toyoda and then toyoda either says yay or nay annually depending on the price point bmw pitches.

Disappointingly, it seems Toyoda never really wanted full responsibility with the Supra quirks or bugs. Heck, even dealers have no idea how to correctly service the Supra with a discord between Toyoda and BMW (Magna Steyr HQ)

I just hope the Refraction doesnt carry over to 2022. It doesnt make any sense for Toyota not to offer some sort of blue color.
