Upgraded Intercooler

Hi Guys,

Do you have a Upgraded intercooler For Stage 2 mhd ? Is there a need For it to replace the Stock one For street usage ? I will go For a turbo Upgrade in the Future but i am on Stage 2 at the Moment. What are your opinions ?

The intercooler is part of the intake manifold on the B58. There are a few tuners offering upgraded intake manifolds, but you're most likely very far from needing one (they're also in the $3,500-$4,500 dollar range). It will be quite some time before a different intercooler/manifold will be your bottleneck.

Okay i was thinking about replacing the Stock one with the bigger Wagner Tuning one.

That is a Heat exchanger(radiator).

I would ask you tuner if your temps are high. Maybe send him some logs.

This car doesn’t have a traditional front mount intercooler like a mk4, evo, eclipse, and typical turbo tuner cars like your thinking of.

Curious if it's more or less effective than going Wagner. On one side, the intake manifold/intercooler shouldn't top out as quickly and heat soak. On the flipside you're introducing pressure lost by having the FMIC.
