Literally have new tires coming tomorrow but I’ve never seen such a large piece of metal get stuck like that before. Didn’t even see it…

My car picked up something similar as well at only 300 miles… thankfully it didn't pass through the tire.

Did you try pulling out that metal worm? Almost looks like it has not penetrated through the radial..

I've had my share of stuff puncturing my tires on my various cars. Luckily not yet on my Supra, but I have spare new tires in storage for those rainy monsoon soggy cookie days..

It was much deeper than I expected. Ended up cutting it at the edge and filled with enough air to last until the new wheels and tires go on. It ended up cutting into the underside of the bumper very slightly. Will most likely cover with rear spats or something

The stuff people leave on the roads! That sucks.. Hope you get that fixed soon.
