Didn't end up ordering from one of the dealers. I just straight up asked them for the one that ended up on their lot the day they got it. MSRP price. Black interior though. I was on the fence with red but Black probably suits me better.
Went ahead and put a deposit down with Passport Toyota in Suitland. They were no nonsense and guaranteed me MSRP. After calling around, in today's climate it will virtually impossible to get under MSRP until shortages are resolved (anyone's guess when that will be).
Make sure they don't PDI the car with the front license plate installed and if you're planning on getting it PPF, tell them to leave the plastic film on the paint and bring it to your detail shop of choice.
Iâm picking my 2022 up from them as I type this and theyâre only putting on rear tags. I didnât notice any film on it. But theyâre pretty straightforward so far

Yeah I put a deposit about a week ago, it was 1k and the sales manager was very clear that the car would be reserved and not sold from under the rug. I trusted them on that.
I did a quick nationwide search for Supras, and there are probably 8-10 dealerships I found who already had 22's in stock.
It might be that specific car/color? but I was quoted aug 16-23 arrival, and it actually arrived ahead of time because apparently there was extra space on the delivery truck. Pure luck for that one
