Skip the dealer. Go to CES Motorsport.

Context:

I just picked up an unlocked 2021 with (now) ~800 miles on it. As of yesterday it began annoying me about the scheduled oil change service being overdue. My plan is to establish a relationship with one local dealer to take care of this first service. Then, I'm going to put another 1-2k miles on it to shake out any potential warranty items that said dealer can handle. Once I'm confident I've worked any bugs out then I'm going down the mod rabbit hole and ostensibly bye bye warranty and dealers from there forward.

Gotcha. As we all know dealers are a crap shoot, but it seems Toyota of North Charlotte has the highest average rating-to-google-review ratio. I can't speak on any dealership personally but I know CES is great from feedback of friends that live in the area and use them. Maybe someone from there can chime in.

CLT locals - what dealer do you recommend for service?
I took mine to Scott Clark when I was having an issue with my radar. Not a bad experience. Not five stars, but not bad. Iā€™ve heard bad things about pretty much every dealer in the area, so I think itā€™s a roll of the dice.

A friend gets his 86 serviced in Pineville, but Iā€™ve read a few bad stories about their Supra service.

By the way, what color is your MKV? I may have seen it parked in downtown Waxhaw on Wednesday, I think. I was in my wifeā€™s X3 M though, not the Supra.

I donā€™t like Scott Clark toyota personally, I went to town and country toyota for an oil change but they couldnā€™t do it since my car was lowered. Although they did give me the oil to do it myself which is what I preferred anyways.

Caught sight of a Red one in Porters Neck near K38 with the 30 day tags still on it. We were in my wife's car or I would've waved or something.

Thanks, gents - I may end up going to Scott Clark for this new recall just out of convenience. Who wants to be the guinea pig..? ? My dealership interactions should (hopefully) be very limited considering I learned I can clear the 1st oil change/service reminder myself. Though if Town and Country will just give me the oil it would be worth the trip.

It's Turbulence Grey; wouldn't have been me in downtown, though!

I'm seeing you all everywhere lately..

Last week saw a Red Supra in the Knightdale area
Last week I saw a Grey Supra on I-87 in the Raleigh\Knightdale area
Yesterday evening I saw a Black Supra cruising in the Garner area in front of the Amazon distribution center.
