Good stuff, glad you got it working again.Hah. That's exactly how I fixed it. The update to AA must have needed an initial wired connection first.

Yeah it works still with 12. You have to search Android Auto in the phones settings to get into the app.Has anyone used this AA method with the latest Android version 12? For some unknown reason, they've decided to ditch the AA stand-alone app altogether, so I'm curious if this is still a viable workaround.
Go into the bimmer tech options and change your wifi channel to the middle option. Works wonders. Wireless runs just as smooth as wired now. I'm also on a Pixel 6 in Pro btw.12 works fine on my Pixel 6 Pro. I do have BT issues now though where things get slow on interface and choppy music. I believe it's a phone issue more than a bimmer tech issue.
One user installed an Andream EVO mmi and confirmed that it worked.Hey all, I've just placed an order for a new Supra and like so many on here looking for a AA solution. For those who have done it would you still recommend it? Has anyone tried cheaper Chinese alternatives? Or BMW ID6 variants?
Also does it relay nav to the HUD?
Thanks
Do you mind giving some more details? I googled it but couldn't dial in Supra specific support. TIAJust to update the Supra world.
I just installed an Andream MMI on my 2024 3.0 Non-Premium (without Tech Pkg)
Works like a charm and I highly recommend it to anyone without Carplay. Or those who want Android Auto.
Andream won't say they support supras. But after reading around bmw forums and here, I just picked up their BMW MMI with the "EVO" connector and with HDMI (cause it was cheaper anyway than without). I emailed Andream a pic of the software and they said it was up to date.Do you mind giving some more details? I googled it but couldn't dial in Supra specific support. TIA

And then from there I just used bimmertech's install video to install.
Look into AAidrive. Pretty niceWell I just went from an iPhone 13 to a Google Pixel 9 as there was an excellent Black Friday deal.... Didn't realize Supra's don't support Android Auto, WTF. Is my only real option to spend $250+ on a module?
I really don't care about being able to use whatsapp or even respond to texts, but I'd like to be able to use google maps and spotify, any way to do that without Android Auto? Sorry for the noob questions.
