Is it just me or do most Nitro owners keep the stock wheels?

I did. In fact, I picked up a second set for my autocross tires. I like them a lot.

Not sure but aside from brake dust collecting on the silver I actually like them. I figure why not wear something out a bit before I change it

Either matching yellow... or good ol' black. I don't actually mind the red as it's the "normal" Brembo color... but since there's very little red elsewhere I'd optimally like it to match something. If they were black they'd be invisible and not show dust... so that might even be better... but I'd prefer if they were matching yellow honestly.

I figure I'll tackle that when I get around to painting the red stripes on my engine cover... so probably never. ?

Well, there's several of us waiting on inventories before getting wheels. Of course, part of the "problem" is that the stock wheels are damn good (as far as weight/strength at least) - so just adding spacers and possibly a powder coat - results in a very nice look.

Once Apex gets their black 18" wheels in stock, I know of at least one yellow MKV that will have different wheels.

I was noticing that there are no different color wheels aside from Black or silver that people pick for our color.

I was thinking of going like a darker mat red for wheels. I don't know, just feels like the only options people doing for Yellow are the black a90 stripes, black wheels, or a shit ton of carbon. :')

Maybe yellow matching is good as well!

Haha not yet man. Thinking of what summer wheels to buy. A nitro owner here had their stock wheels powder coated a really shiny grey that looked great so I’m thinking of doing the same to stock wheels or APEX/other brands.
