Some of us like to have our cake and eat it too

Obviously a Supra is not the ideal bike carrying car but if you can make it work then why not. Having a bike on a sports car is no more dangerous than having it on top of or behind a Subaru Outback or something. A bike can go flying off any car if its not properly secured.

I know the whole suction cupping your bike to you roof thing does seem sketchy AF, but once you use it a few times you realize how solid it actually is. My bikes are way more stable on the roof of my Supra with the Sea Sucker then they were with my Thule roof rack on my previous car.

Okay….. if u can afford a $60k two seat
No trunk vehicle, with a sole purpose
Which is quite obvious, and u want to ride on public roads with a ridiculous bicycle strapped with suction cups
Or whatever, on top of your head,
Enjoy!?

Believe it or not, some people like to drive their sports cars to their cabins, because the drive is fun. Then when they get to their cabins (or whatever your vacation property of choice is) unload the bike for a weekend of mountain biking, and carve up the mountains in the sports car later.

Exactly... or the complete opposite: They work in a dense urban environment where they have designated parking at their office but everything nearby (for meetings, lunches, etc.) is so crowded that having to park anything, other than a bicycle, would be prohibitive.

Yep, exactly what I did last year when I went riding in Vermont.

Don't buck the trend, only use things the way *other* people intend/approve and don't forget to cow to their ridicule.

I just don't understand where people get off, do they also give shit to truck owners driving around with an empty bed, I mean why'd they buy a truck if not hauling something? Or, omg, I've even seen trucks at a drag strip.

I've always had Supras, this is the first one I can't put a mtb into the hatch. Turns out there's a product to work around that issue and it works really well. 2yrs use and it's *very* solid

Hmmm , suction cups, damn! That is so
Sketchy ? nothing else holds it to car?
No straps holding suction cups to the actual car?

I’ve got a new bronco and a roof rack on the way for the Supra, is that acceptable?

I've used a Sea Sucker rack on numerous cars for years and still have it, it works flawlessly, every time.

I've thought about the seasucker a few times but in the end couldn't justify it. Not because I think it'll fail or anything of the sort but rather I have another car with tow hitch bike rack that can transport the bikes.
Plus the SO doesn't really care for the Supra and there's no way that she'd want to put the bikes on it to go somewhere to ride. It's actually one of the reasons I almost didn't get the Supra, because of lack of options for this stuff. One of the other cars I was looking at (not in the same class) was the Golf R which I know would handle that stuff easily. But I got impatient and here we are and I couldn't be happier.

Fit's w/wheels off.
54cm frame.
I'm impressed!

First thing I did when I got my car was take both wheels off my downhill bike and attempt to get the frame in there. After about 5 mins I was like nope not happening ?

It took a few minutes of trying this way and that, once I found the right direction and 'order' for it to go in it's a snap. The wheels even lay on top of the frame so it all fits in the hatch.
