No joke sometimes I feel mental. Though I can only imagine the money I'd spend if I ever decide to go top mount, build the motor, and slap on a Wide-body with 3 piece wheels.

I appreciate the commitment some of you have towards a pricey and unique build.

Does anyone else have mental limits around what they’ll spend to mod (mod - not track fees, consumables, etc.)? I start to hit a barrier when the car price+mod costs could get me into my next platform of choice (assuming it’s a pricier platform).

That makes more logical sense than most of us...

Yes the msrp price of a platform I would upgrade to is my cap as well. So for me the GTR msrp is my cap for total spent. I am pretty much there already but luckily my build is mostly done.
