Looooooooooong time lurker first time poster.

Ok let me start of by saying that when I heard Toyota was building a next gen Supra I was extremely exited because I am no longer poor like I was when the MKIV was available. I'm just about to hit early mid-life crisis mode and have some money burning in my pocket.

after the continuing bad news after bad news i just had to register and make my dissatisfaction counted along with most of the others about how this thing is ending up.

Yea, I've noticed the action over at Supraforums has been abysmal at best. I remember the days of it overflowing with DIY articles and so many parts for sale that you couldn't keep up. Maybe the MKV will revive some of that excitement again!

Hello. I own a 1987 Turbo Supra. Looking for experts on this car/engine. I am experiencing an over heating issue after major engine work and the garage is stumped. Only over heats under load. Can someone please point me to the best place to find out more info? Or refer me to a guy that knows more about this year Supra? Thanks !

First post but I’ve been lurking for a few months now. I figured it was time to register as things finally seem to be ramping up. I have owned a 95 supra tt for the last 19 years and hope the new one will live up to the name. I got mixed emotions though since it’s more of a bmw than a Toyota but keeping an open mind. Most important thing is the performance and fun factor for me.

What work was done?
Coolant system bled correctly?
Radiator Cap is cheapest thing to cross off the list many people overlook.

Not much of a 7M expert by any means.. however your issue seems to be a generic one. So does it over heat in traffic? If you are standing still with AC on?
