I luckily windshield PPF and frontal. I have done the Alice’s drive a few times and if you aren’t leading you definitely are getting rocks galoreGot the car rinsed off and actually washed after yesterday's shenanigans in the mountains. There's more damage than I thought, 6 rock chips in the bumper that went through the paint and is exposing plastic, with a few more chipping paint. Windshield was absolutely peppered and worse than I expected, no actual chips but plenty of cratering.
Take this as a warning for those who have been putting off PPF, get it done before any real serious driving...
Sigh.
That really sucks. Before I got my car I had a buddy got behind a truck and ended up with a really bad looking front, there were tiny little chips everywhere including the headlights.Got the car rinsed off and actually washed after yesterday's shenanigans in the mountains. Don't feel so bad it happens. It's not cheap to do a full front ppf anyway. I'm considering on doing ppf. The car already have 10k without it and I see a few rock chips in the front bumper and it's kinda funny the previous owner tried to hide one deep rock chip with a yellow sticker the one that u use for doin pin stripe lol the 1st time I did a car wash I noticed it and I was like what is this yellow sticker doin here peeled that off and it exposed the rock chip made me laugh.Got the car rinsed off and actually washed after yesterday's shenanigans in the mountains. Is this hard to do?Here's what I did today. Prepped the new rims for the supra. Used Adam's polishes graphene ceramic advance coating and did 2 coats on the new rims.![]()
Not really it's actually my 1st time doing it myself. Watched alot of YouTube on how to, it's alot easier in my case since the rims are brand new didn't have to clean it just did a wipe down with a microfiber and started coating. You just need to know the product ur going to use like how long is the cure time b4 first wipedown. I just used one microfiber applicator and 2 microfiber. Is this hard to do?
Cool, mine are new in box as well so that should help. I assume the 2 microfiber towels was to buff the ceramic ?Not really it's actually my 1st time doing it myself.
