I’m optimistic that a manual transmission MkV is coming soon. There have been reports and rumors saying that manual transmission will be released in 2022 for the 2023 model year with the 3.0-liter I6 engine.

I just wonder how much more exciting the MkV Supra could have been if it’ll be fitted with a manual transmission enthusiasts around the world have been craving for quite some time already.

Yep, I read about it in another thread here. Sure is fun driving that through the canyons

Anyone else guessing that Toyota won't be doing a facelift at this point given how far we are into the 5(or 6) year production cycle?

Maybe they will be like Honda with the NSX, don't think it got a face-lift till the final model Type S and make it limited.

The only thing I could see happening is maybe the new front bumper like the GT4 Race car with the air opening in the front. I wonder though if with a refresh if they have to perform new crash testing.

I'm really really suprised they made a manual so who knows what they will do in the future.

This: ? it is ugly as hell, an afterthought, but there's a design out there, so who knows..

Does anyone remember the Toyota commercial back in June of 2021? It had a yellow bumper on the wall that was different then the cars.

I think it would be pretty cool to see the full FT1 bumper like in this YT video.

1. Blend in fake side vents and hood vents (massive eyesore and honestly sometimes it makes me feel like trading it in)

2. Updated infotainment

3. Upgrade the cheesy/cheap shift levers!

4. Fix the trunk lid latch locking if you've closed your door!

5. Better steering wheel design

6. Drilled brake rotors

7. More aesthetic differences between 3.0 vs 2.0

8. Updated tach, speedo, fuel etc. - make more mature and "tighter" fonts

9. New shifter non-BMW looking

10. Add Sport+ and make Sport not hang 3rd and 4th gears as much on auto

They can keep the wind buffeting through the Windows if they fix those.. hehe. Looks like MY23 will not have any of these?
