Not all of us take motors from written off Aristo's and drop them into our cars. If you see my build in the garage section, you can see what the motor looked like before and after. If I get a new car with a mediocre motor and plan to swap a 2JZ, you can be assured that thing will be stripped down to it's last nut or bolt for a solid rebuild. Personally, I don't care too much for a 2JZ in factory state....it's when you build them up that the engineering behind the motor really shines.Exactly. I mean I love the JZ family of engines, but I'm also not looking to buy a $50,000 car so I can put a 20 year old engine from a written off Toyota Aristo into it lol. If I was going to do that I could just stick with what I have already.
