Imagine, a manual transmission from a M3/M4 in a MKV Supra....there would be a 6 month waiting list guaranteed. I'd be curious to see if they retain the eLSD on a manual car or only offer it on the auto's.

If Tada had a choice, he would have both, not exclude anything to provide a driver's car to the fullest.

We'll see in a few years

Sounded like he didn't want to give any details on a potential manual option....but, he's so darn cryptic when he talks that you really don't know if he's hinting in a positive way or negative way.

My optimistic approach is Tada has a manual option getting hooned and perfected over at Toyota HQ and he is saving that specific model for the reveal in Nov. I doubt it would be sold as a 1:1 with an auto in terms of quantity but a 2:1 would allow the manuals to be sold at a lower amount, less of a loss on Toyota's part and potentially boost image and sales as demand rises while supply is low.

Again, he is the PR Manager for this car so he could be doing this to draw outcry or confusion to keep people's ear a while longer on the project before reveal

End result would look like this
Wow, Toyota is making the R36 GTR?

I would like to preffer a manual gearbox.
But in the usa many want an automatic.
Although Europeans do not want automatic new regulations on pollution imposes an automatic gearbox.
And the new gearboxes are much more powerful than the manual one.

Lmao! It actually doesn't look too bad like that.

Yeah, a BMW manual transmission is one component I would be VERY interested in. I know BMW has a reputation for putting beefy transmissions in their cars....the MKV Supra should be no exception.

What's weird is, from the factory the regulations do show reduced emissions from an Auto or DSG, however, once a bigger turbo or larger capacity fuel system is installed...the emissions concerns will be null.

Toyota will try to meet emissions and the works with an auto and a manual.

Maybe that's why the engine might be 350 HP just to appease these corporations and regulations. It'll be fine stock but man, it can do so much more.

The way it was worded suggested this supra owned the B58 where it had me confused. A matter of semantics as I'm aware what you mean now. You said if Toyota have update B58 which left me :hmm:
