Closed exhaust flap (right side) when not in sport mode

Just scrap the stock exhaust and replace with one of the many valveless options. I am very pleased with my AWE touring exhaust.

Purchased mine with Borla ATAK already installed. Noticed the valve is always open regardless of Comfort or Sport mode (even on cold-start it's open).

Checked the 203 fuse and it's there and looking fine.

Is there a way to reset or fix to where I can control the valve open and closed?

I removed the fuse, instantly got a CEL. I cleared it, turned off the car and valve is still open. I started the car and no CEL, I’ll update in a while after it’s cold then I drive it to see if a CEL comes back on…

Maybe reach out to AWE and ask if you can purchase the valve motor simulator from them. Really don’t know if they would sell it separately without it being a replacement for one that came with a full exhaust.

I was, now no valve but if you’re running stock exhaust just pull the fuse once the vale opens and problem solved

Did you ever get this problem resolved. I have the same exhaust and was going to remove the fuse in order to have the valve open all the time. But I want to be able to go back to opening and closing the valve if I place the fuse back in, just in case I don't like the valve always open.
