Attention to detail level Superb, excellent work!!Not Ryley, and it's not an A80, but here is a VVT-i 2JZ Haltech Elite harness I made for an A70 last year...

Makes me think about how manufacturers tune their ECUs. I can't imagine them stopping and flashing a new tune every few minutes. They must have the capability to tune it on the fly just like standalones. If only that is available on a production car that was aimed at tuners with an easily cracked and tuned ECU...Thanks. The tunes are likely developed largely on engine dynos with computers, far from a car or ECU.Makes me think about how manufacturers tune their ECUs. Sorry to waste your time, but is the ZF box basically confirmed? So, no double clutch?? I saw it was ZF, then all of a sudden it was double clutch, and now people are mentioning ZF againyou'd be surprised how archaic it is compared to the aftermarket.
Yeah it's a ZF 8HP, no DCT.Sorry to waste your time, but is the ZF box basically confirmed? So, no double clutch?? I saw it was ZF, then all of a sudden it was double clutch, and now people are mentioning ZF again
So this is the basic controls, sans paddle shifter, of the ZF 8HP? I would think they all operate the same.Yeah it's a ZF 8HP, no DCT.
The shifter knob changes from generation to generation and is slightly different in different cars (for example, the one in the Alfa Romeos has the "unlock" button on the back of the knob), but yes that is the general layout of them. Expect something similar in the Supra. So this is the basic controls, sans paddle shifter, of the ZF 8HP? I would think they all operate the same.
