Does anyone know if it needs to be in traction mode or VSC OFF? I get none in M+sport mode.
Edit: Confirmed it’s in M mode in sport with VSC ON, Traction, and VSC OFF.
Not super visible though. I wish Cobb could/would create an access port for the car so I can get the gauges I want and a visible shift light.

You just have to be in manual shifting. Normal, sport, etc. does not matter. Every Supra comes with the lights inside the tachometer.

You have to click the gear selector to the left in manual mode and drive it and you'll see the lights progress inside the tach as you accelerate

Yes, I did this. I put the gear selector mode to M. I have no lights inside the Tach. Maybe because I was in Sport+?

Probably sounds like you coded the car. Regular manual mode will do it.

The P3 OBD gauge will do this.
Do you know if this works with a JB4 with a splitter. All the information I can find suggests it doesn't. Hoping there is a workaround? Any ideas?

No, JB4 requires the entire OBD2 bandwith.
