Really don’t know how much this answers your question but I used that as a ground for the factory footwell lights.

Is that what you ended up using? Also which fuses did you use for the ACC (yellow) and BATT (Red) cable? Just want to make sure, planning to do ACC to fuse 47 and BATT to either 21 or 20 which are the powered windows

The ground worked however I ended up returning the kit as I was having trouble with fuses/wiring.
