So the last two oil changes in the Supra I noticed some shimmery oil, but nothing in the oil filter when I cut it open. I was thinking maybe it was from breaking in but this last change was at 6,000 miles, and the car has 16 track days on it now. So I decided to do an oil test.

Good news is all the metals other than lead are low in the report. So now I am wondering why lead is so high. I did run 100 oct unleaded the last couple events, not sure if that would cause higher lead or not, even being unleaded. Anyone else see something like this before?

Your lead is really high. I showed 0 on my last oil change and 1 on my first one. However, your copper compared to mine is great. My first oil change was at 11 and last one was 17. I can post my records if you want to compare. I have about 6-8 days of auto-x on each oil change. Not quite the abuse you have on yours but its at least something better than DD results.

That would be great if you could share that.

Went to Palmer Motorsports park this weekend. Third time at this track, second time in the clockwise config.

I love this track, it's very challenging and a rollercoaster ride. I very much respect this track as I have seen a fair amount of crashes here so I don't drive it as hard as other tracks but still like to chip away time every time I go!

Looking good! With aero and better tires you'll be in 46-47 in no time, which is like class win in COMSCC Touring 80 right now.

Okay you aren't THAT far off with the iron and we are about the same mileage on the car. I guess maybe these b58's take awhile to break in fully.

I'll do another oil test before I really freak out lol.

Fourth visit to Palmer CCW yesterday. Another PB. Dropped almost 2 seconds from last time. 1:4X's next time?

Started feeling really achy on the drive back and I tested positive for covid last night. So I got a personal best with covid. lol

Nice! Is Ethanol available to you trackside or do you plan on hauling it? I need to fill back up after two 20 min sessions at stockish power; consumption on E would be brutal! :confused1: Aside from that it's all upside.

Plans for brakes with the new power?

Not available trackside. I actually don't plan on using much, probably E20-E30. I used E20 at the track on Monday, brought two 5 gallon jugs with E20 that I premixed as that is all I can fit in the supra, and I could have definitely used another 5 gallon, all this on the stock oem tune. Consumption will go up with more power so I might bring a couple jugs for when I went to go for PB's and then run 93 the rest of the day.

I think most of the people on here will be disappointed in the power output but I'm not doing it for them.

Basically I am shooting for something as close as 400-420wtq across or whatever 19-21 psi gets me. 400-420wtq will give me 500-520whp.

Great war story to tell - you literally put your personal best time up with a deadly virus rampaging its way through your system. Good time you put up on the board and I hope you feel better soon!

EDIT: I just noticed how old this post was. You're obviously not dead and I truly hope by now you're feeling better. 😆
