Those running a custom map 6 on just 93, what kind of numbers are you seeing On the dyno and/or track?

Running Map 6 on 93 - soon going E30 - but I have not put it on a dyno yet.

Why not use map2? And make ur custom map like a eblend? Just asking
I don’t feel like bothering with mixtures, and rather the “custom” dial in versus the OTS jb4 maps. I see where plenty have stated the night and day difference between the 2, which is a given As no 2 cars are identical.

Yeah I can feel you cause mixing gets annoying but I keep jugs at the house to mix now rather then getting in and out the car.. I downloaded the e blend calculator that helps A SHIT TON,

I am also yet to get an actual straight answer to this question. I'd also like to know what differences you could expect from Custom Tune Map 6 on 93 vs just a JB+ on 93 vs stock on 93. Not interested in mixing fuels.

Everyone seems to dance around this question when asked without actually answering it in any meaningful way.

If my car fit on the dyno at work, I would get some solid results. But no, I'm not pulling the bumpers off to make it happen.

You're looking at around 430whp on JB4 with 93. Around 460-480whp on E30.

edit to include mods: MST v2 air intake and high flow cat. Not sure how much those two really matter.

All I can say is I was a little skeptical between Map 2 vs Map 6. In the end, I can say Map 6 is faster and puts down the power a lot more smoothly compared to Map 2. It's a night and day difference. I only run 93 due to the fact I drive the car every day and it's just more convenient.

That's what I said too, my man! I'm fine with a JB+ because I didn't feel like messing with a JB4. Bought a JB4. I'm fine with map 2, I don't need a custom map 6. Bought Jesse's services. I don't want to mess with with mixing gas or buying some expensive race fuel, I'm fine with a custom 93 tune. Bought a custom E30 tune and a ethanol mixture sensor. INJECT THE SPEED INTO MY VEINS!

I haven’t been on a Dyno but on the track two days at Sebring. It was completely amazing!!!!!! The power difference was huge. My throttle modulation completely changed on the low end, running a map 6 custom tune by Jessie. When I would come out of a hairpin turn, for example, the car would easily get loose with much less pedal input. Even on lesser degree corners the throttle modulation was so much more shorter = fun. On the straights, it was also night and day. She would blast off out of the turns. My top end speed on the back straight of Sebring was 7-10 mph more and 5 mph more approaching the hairpin at turn 7…. (still working out the quirks on my laptimer and video).

So that’s the very unofficial dyno for me. A Vett buddy asked me what I was running fuel wise. I’m just on 93 octane, catless with custom tune. He could tell when I had it on Map 6. We would run about the same times when I had the JB4 off or trying other maps. I’ll be going to Homestead in ~10 days to play/test some more. It was well worth the money, imo.

Curious about going from nothing to JB+ andn then to the JB4. How much difference do you think there is between the three?
