I just can't get over how cringe the local news coverage is to actually listen to the facts. What really roasts my coffee beans is that the "solution" to these street races will be to give me a ticket for driving ~85 on the freeway, in nice weather, at 2am - with no one else around.

And yeah... we don't get rain... flood or nothing at all is our MO here. Then again we also panic over a 3.4 earthquake. Sigh
