Got my pickup date today finally! Wednesday next week is the day!
Woohoo! Hey Vanta, can you send me a pic of your new key :D I'm going to shoot you a private message. I'm super keen to order my key cover asap...

No update for my build yet :( I have a stock id, but no build date. So... basically nothing haha.

Still no batch no for me so months more to wait unfortunately. Nov build supposedly, fast running out of time for confirmation of that.

Good luck. My order has been pushed to April. Maybe. Ugh.

Sad to say I cannot make a Supra work for my property due to elevated street level with massive drop into garage...but I love the BMW straight 6 so spent last couple of days looking at a few cars in Bris. Signed on the line for an X4 M Competition. Figure if can't go a Supra I'll go one better on the driveline with 375kW/600Nm S58 TT!

Pricing for the 2023 went online today.

109k for colour + alcantara :O
Yeah.. it was announced that it would be about $500 more than last year. My price works out at $110k. I think it varies from state to state because of taxes, etc.

I gotta be honest.. with the wait time and the way my dealer has no fucking idea when I might actually get my Supra, that new M2 is calling..

So I managed to find a MY23 landed here in Melbourne. If anyone is interested, there's a blue GTS automatic with tan interior at Chadstone Toyota. Just don't expect anyone there to be super helpful though.. they seem slightly more clueless than any other dealer I have entered into - Their timeline for manuals entering the country is "no ETA." In fact, I'd go so far as to say they were downright rude. Anyway..

They have cheekily marked the car up to just over $115,000 by adding dashcams and maybe some other bullshit. I didn't ask or care as it was an auto.

And.. there's more bad news. I can confirm that there's no garage door button on our mirrors - At least I couldn't feel it - and tragically, it looks like our Supra's don't come with the new GR brace either which is a big loss - I thought at least the GTS would get it, but no.

We do seem to have puddle light fixtures though and in other good news that blue does look far better than expected in the Australian light!

I also took a photo underneath the front bumper in case anyone is like me and is planning to sto-n-sho their plate. I think it looks right? And finally, I had a (very) brief listen to the stereo - about a minute before the battery died - and well.. commercial radio didn't sound completely terrible.. apart from it being commercial radio of course. It certainly wasn't an audition or a test drive but yeah, that's my first impressions of an actual Australian spec MY23.

You sir are a champion!
That's the colour combo I've ordered.
I'd love to see it in person it's a shame cars don't get sold on Sundays

Yeah, no Au models got the garage opener on the mirror sadly.

Spotted a red manual in my town on Thursday... not bought through my dealer though, as I'm the only A90 on order... (Which they're chasing up, still scheduled for November build -_- )

I was very tempted by that blue!

Are you referring to the puddle light under the doors? As in, we do have the light so we can swap, plug and play with the Supra puddle lights (the light that shines the Supra logo onto the ground when door is opened)?

There are two orders at my dealership. Mine (blue, gts+alcantara auto) and a yellow gt manual. Toyota offered us a car this week... and it was the yellow one :'( so 50/50 and I lost haha.

We ended up declining it though because that customer said he doesn't want a Supra anymore. Hopefully being the only other order I see it early next year.

I think it's about 3 months shipping time to Australia from Austria anyway (yellow one just got built and is in motorpool).
