I can't believe I am saying this but you really jumped the shark with that jeweled shift knob. Not even going to start about the 50 different CF patterns. Holy krist.

This thread reminds be of an old saying:

Just because you CAN, it doesn't mean you SHOULD.

The thread title should be changed to "Bad/Questionable Supra mods via MK5 owner Facebook group".

FYI that knob is premium/executive option on BMWs...not that I like it.

This is the extent of my Facebook meta experience…. I’ve seen some hilarious stuff friends have sent me from there. I spend too much time on here. I couldn’t imagine adding fakebook to the mix

Honestly you aren't missing much on there. There's way more people in the FB groups which is nice for seeing a varied amount of people's setups/experience, but hardly anyone does any research and it's the same uneducated questions over and over. The other day someone posted asking "how do you accelerate quickly without getting wheelspin?" and I just about threw my phone across the room.

So there’s people even worse than me? ? ?
I’m about as basic as you come, as you know. I can change my brakes, oil, trans fluid on non-highly electronic cars (my older cars back in my yoof). But don’t do it anymore. It sounds more like my crowd but I’d be too worried about someone getting their panties in a wad. Which I’ve heard fb is notorious for. And the tracking (not car) is awful. I was on it long ago and my personal pic showed up on a company google search. People would show me, hey you’re the guy we see on google when looking up (blank). It was in the early days of fakebook when people though post were private and not shared with vendors (paid advertisers).

So definitely appreciate y’all being patient with me here with this modern badass vehicle!
