Hey guys! Limp mode is always an old friend of mine. I have experienced this issue for quite a while, but normally it would not happen until the third or the very last session of the day. And it would be gone when the temp go back to normal. I always keep an eye on the fuel level to make sure it is above 1/2 after each session to avoid the infamous fuel pump issue. However, On my 1/28 Sebring track event, this issue happened since the very first lap of the day.
I think it is necessary to mention some performance mods that I have done:
-Full exhaust with a catless down pipe
-Injen Intake
-BM3 tune
-Mishimoto Heat Exchanger
-Mishimoto Radiator
I think the limp mode that I experienced before is caused by the extra heat from extra power.
In order to deal with those extra heat, I got those Heat exchanger and radiator and got them installed before the event. The mechanics who did it told me it may have some air bubble in the system, but I do not know how does that bubble has anything to do with the power loss. The entire day I could not have the performance that I wanted.
Fellows, what do you think?
