I just got a "planned production month" of March.

It's super tentative and it will be pushed back again if not confirmed by the start of next month (They lock them in at the end/start of each month). If not, then planned production month just gets pushed back another month again.

Anyway, first time I've seen a planned production month which is kinda nice. But I also know it's an almost pointless date...

Finally got an email from Toyota 2 weeks ago saying my car has been shipped....

Not sure how long does it takes to arrive in Australia.

Mine was supposed to start building in November as well. same heard nothing back until got the email. We might be on the same production or shipping period. Hope you'll get yours soon!

So I got an update from my dealer today.. Looks like my car is scheduled to go into production mid February. Still no VIN or anything confirmed officially but the sales guy was a lot more positive!

It might actually be happening!

Yeah mate. Pulled the trigger in July of last year.. The wait is killing me!

I got an update from the dealer this morning.

I have been allocated a VIN and engine no. for the car and the status is now B02 - At sea Duty Paid. Dealer ETA is 03.04.2023. Ship name is ZB - Morning Lady

Hey mate,

I put a deposit down beginning of March 2022, and order was officially entered beginning of June 2022. It’s been a long wait!

But from the sounds of things it looks like Australian stock is finally getting a move on, so I don’t think it will be as long for others as mine took.

Wow, u have been waiting longer than me Danny.
Yes, good to see some action finally but it looks like there is still months to wait.
Really glad this is the last time I ever buy a car, dont want to go through this exercise in frustration again.
Hope it's worth it, I am still yet to drive one
