Yes. Not only will your warranty be voided
Your homeowners insurance will be canceled
You refrigerator will stop producing ice after midnight
And your dog will run away

Seriously though. Either change it yourself or buy the oil/filter take it to a reputable lube shop and avoid such headaches...

Tough crowd. Short answer no. One, the kid changing your oil doesn't care. It's not like you're going through customs with $100,000 or a bag full of coke. And if you do bring it in for an issue, then google Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Your cold air intake is a gazoo, the charge pipe is color for your engine bay, the downpipe only leads to the exhaust. The only debatable thing is the tune and that JB4 can be pulled in a minute if you had a power train issue.

That goes both ways.
Kid: I put 0W-20 from Yaris. It was cheaper. Gimme tip. Well ain't it just 'nother Toyota. What y'all mean it's GR. This one's just as great.

Just a heads up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act only holds weight in court not at dealership. It can protect you but will require legal action. Its not like you can walk into the service department and say the magic words and now the dealership or manufacturer is suddenly forced to pay and fix all problems with your car. Any time someone had to use the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act lawyers were always involved.

If you have your real name and location on here, and mention your car is modded. It could be voided in the future

They didnt say anything about my warranty being voided when I went to got my oil changed šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
Why would they? They are just doing an oil change. Come in with an issue that would be covered under warranty and it could be a different story

This is what Iā€™ve been able to find about this:

Itā€™s been explained numerous times that JB4 is detectable in these cars if they look for it. They may or may not care. Iirc there was a member who used JB4 and still was able to get his engine replaced because of an oil consumption problem caused by a defect in manufacturing.

They need to plug into the car and see codes and values that prove youā€™ve done something that would void the warranty. They canā€™t just open the hood, see an intake, and void your warranty.

If you use a power adder, you might lose your warranty on your engine and drivetrain. If itā€™s flashed tuned then definitely. The downpipe can be detected by the car and stored as a code. The B58 is pretty robust though. Outside of the oil consumption problems some ā€˜21 cars had I donā€™t really see many complaints about it.

Do your own oil changes or give your business to a good, trusted independent shop instead. And switch to 5w30 while youā€™re at it. The stock oil is basically overpriced water.

U quote, It all depends on the dealership! getting a lawyer is gonna cost u time & aggravation!
